AI Governance β€’ LegalTech β€’ Applied AI Systems

I design and analyse AI systems with a focus on governance, transparency and practical deployment. My recent work includes document intelligence tools, retrieval pipelines and structured decision-support systems.

Focus areas

  • AI governance and regulatory analysis
  • Document intelligence and NLP systems
  • Retrieval and search architectures
  • Applied ML evaluation and structured outputs

The projects on this page highlight some of the smaller tools I’ve built around the things I enjoy: reading, learning and photography. For the more technical LegalTech builds, the Projects section gives a clearer picture of how I think.

Personal Projects

A minimalist, custom-built photography gallery featuring masonry layout, category filters and a fully-custom lightbox viewer. This project blends my love for photography with practical front-end engineering by focusing on UX, visual clarity and smooth interaction design.

Tech: HTML, CSS (Masonry Grid, Transitions), Vanilla JavaScript (Dynamic Rendering, Filtering, Lightbox, Keyboard Navigation), JSON Data Handling

AI Study Buddy

An AI-powered learning companion that generates flashcards and quizzes from uploaded notes.
This project grew out of my own study journey β€” I’ve used AI as a study partner since ChatGPT first launched.

Tech: Python, FastAPI, OpenAI API

AI-Powered Reading & Media Tracker

A React/Next.js app to log books and shows, fetching cover data from APIs (Goodreads, OMDb).
I built this because I read widely and wanted a tool that combines organisation with data visualisation.

Tech: React, Next.js, Goodreads API, OMDb API
